Our internal awards celebration has always been one of the most anticipated nights in our events calendar. Although the ceremony was slightly different this year, it still went ahead thanks to collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams) and the unwavering enthusiasm of the OryxAlign team.
Our unique culture and talented employees are the beating heart of OryxAlign, and our annual awards recognise and celebrate both the hard work and the personalities behind the scenes.
We’re delighted to congratulate Andreia Maia, our exceptional finance manager, on winning the coveted ‘Employee of the Year’ award at our annual achievement and recognition awards.
This title is awarded to a person who has demonstrated outstanding and continued commitment to the company’s success, along with constant passion and positivity in their role.
“It was a pleasant surprise when my name was read out for the Employee of the Year award,” said Andreia. “It’s very humbling to know that my colleagues have been noticing the work that I do. When you’re in a company like OryxAlign, where there is so much support and so much energy, it’s not hard to want to give your all and take pride in what you do.”
Nominated by her colleagues, Andreia’s win did not come as a surprise to her line manager, Jessica Seaborne, CFO.
“Andreia has only been with the company for little over a year and yet in that time she has successfully entrenched herself into the inner workings of OryxAlign, making her a huge asset and invaluable part of the team,” shares Jessica. “She takes on all tasks with enthusiasm and doesn’t shy away from a challenge. I’m sure everyone at OryxAlign will agree that she’s approachable, supportive & someone who just gets things done. She encompasses everything we value at OryxAlign and will be a huge part of our success in the coming years.”
