Founder & CEO
Founder & CEO
With over 20 years commercial experience in the international IT services sector, Carl Henriksen is now CEO of the well-established, thriving, UK based MSP, OryxAlign.
His early career in sub-Saharan Africa exposed him to the technical challenges of IT engineering and support where he quickly learned the importance of delivering excellent service, underpinned by a valued supply chain that operated efficiently. Promotion to technical operations director was swift, which then saw Carl responsible for a national IT strategy to support a large portfolio of major FMCG retailers.
He relocated to the UK in 1996 and earned his spurs over the next decade operating in the IT support sector as an effective senior technical account manager and client services director. His passion for delivering excellent service was well honed over this period. With this wealth of experience behind him, he boldly established OryxAlign in 2007.
Over the subsequent decade he has built OryxAlign into a most successful, multi-million pound managed technology service provider with a large, diverse, growing and loyal client base. Carl has a deep domain understanding of the MSP market, the technologies and trends that drive and shape that market, how to develop and execute successful strategies to protect existing market share, position the business for growth, and pursue new opportunities.
Carl played squash at international level and has competed in the British Open. He now plays at county level.
Justin has over 20 years of international operational experience, operating across a notable breadth within the ICT spectrum in both public (UK Govt) and private sectors. Over this period, he has acquired a deep domain understanding of a wide range of mission critical technologies and communication architectures and understands well the optimum service and support structures needed to sustain these architectures successfully. He is a highly accomplished expert in his field.
In his early years he honed his technical skills in the secure land, satellite communications and infrastructure services arena, operating across 27 countries with a multi-national organisation, focused principally in the banking and military sectors. It was during this period that he learned the importance of achieving the alignment of enabling technologies with business strategy to deliver success. He became adept at trouble shooting and fixing complex, technical issues quicker than most.
Drawing on this rich vein of technical competence, Justin helped establish OryxAlign in 2007. Since that date, as CTO, he has designed and driven the technical, long-term vision for the Company, consistently harnessing new, but proven technologies and delivering them to clients in a timely, affordable, and measured way. He understands the importance of maintaining a world class Product and Services Catalogue for OryxAlign’s clients which competes with the best.
His fulfilment now, comes from leading a large, multi-disciplined team of highly accomplished engineers to design and deliver secure, commercially viable, and operationally fit for purpose technology solutions, underpinned by 1st class support services.
Looking ahead, Justin’s focus is to identify those emerging technologies that have the potential to be market disruptors and ensuring that OryxAlign remains ahead of the pack.
Justin is a keen endurance athlete who enjoys the great outdoors at every opportunity.
