OryxAlign business launch & awards: looking to the future

A strong business plan and committed culture are the foundations for a successful year, which is why our Annual Business Plan launch and Achievement and Recognition Awards are such prominent events in the OryxAlign calendar.

Despite the ongoing situation preventing our teams from being together for a second year running, we hosted a very successful virtual event at the beginning of April 2021, to reflect on the past year, look forward to the new financial year and celebrate the incredible individual achievements from members of the OryxAlign Team.

What an extraordinary year it has been. Against all the odds and predictions, we have emerged very successfully from 2020, far exceeding our financial targetsIt has been a year of very hard graft and notable transformation. We have restructured the company, recruited new senior leadership and replaced our core application platforms. We have won substantial new client contracts and we are in the throes of strengthening our service management and delivery capability.

We have a very exciting year ahead of us. First and foremost, we will regroup as a company and re-establish that drumbeat of office friendships and support for each other and get to know our many new starters and make them feel at home with our wonderful culture and our ambitions.

We see 2021-2022 as an investment year in our people, our systems and our infrastructure to position the business for accelerated growth in 2022 and beyond. Market conditions for MSPs remain extremely favourable and our future continues to look very bright indeed as we put the worst of the pandemic behind us.

Our Annual Achievement and Recognition Awards

Our awards first started 9 years ago, when there were 14 of us in the company. As an MSP, we deliver an inordinate amount of services across numerous departments and disciplines, and we therefore ensure we recognise our many pillars of excellence and the individuals that create the magic.

We have a total of 13 awards and the most coveted award, ‘Employee of the Year demonstrates outstanding and continued commitment to the company and others at all times, along with great individual achievement, contribution and performance in their jobs and other related duties, beyond their own. This is a person with a positive attitude towards work responsibilities, colleagues and our clients.

We’re delighted that this year the Employee of the Year Award went to Mark Waldmeyer.

Mark has been a core part of the OryxAlign Team for over 7 years and has been instrumental in our growth.” said Carl Henriksen, CEOHe always takes on all tasks with enthusiasm, big or small, doesn’t shy away from a challenge and is always willing to lend a hand. I’m sure everyone at OryxAlign will agree that he’s approachable, supportive and someone who just gets things done. He encompasses everything we value at OryxAlign & will continue to be a huge part of our success in the coming years.
