Cyber House Party: Bringing the cyber community together

Cyber House Party is a not-for-profit initiative which launched in June 2020 as a response to COVID-19. Through a series of events aimed at the IT and cyber security industries, they provide a platform for UK charities, whilst also exploring the wellbeing of IT and security professionals. The CHP team explains, “Our main aims were to: improve the wellbeing of the UK’s cybersecurity community; encourage more people to get into the industry; provide a platform for UK non-profits; and to raise money for worthy causes.”

Following on from the success of their initial events in June, October and December, the CHP team is back with their Easter Party.

Cyber House Easter Party

On April 1st at 5pm, ‘Cyber House Party 3.0: The Easter Special’ will be live, supporting NSPCC’s Childline, Homeless Charity Trinity, Happy Days for Everyone and PSD.

An interesting and authoritative line-up of key industry speakers will be covering everything from cyber succession planning to cyber stress. They’ll be sharing their views and discussing their own personal experiences with their responsibilities in their respective security roles. You can view the full agenda here.

With trolling and harassment increasing online, Cyber House Party have also arranged for the audience to hear from victims to describe their experiences, and explore what support networks are available for help. By discussing the topic, the CHP team aim to help people feel that support is always available, and they’re not alone during this time.

And for some much needed fun, enjoy a live DJ set from Ibiza legend Brandon Black and participate in the Easter Cyber Quiz! But that’s not all Cyber House Party have in store, stay tuned for ‘THE After Party’ to wind down and carry on enjoying the event. Register for the event today!

You can donate and help reach their target for this fantastic cause on their Virgin Giving Page. Or, if you’re looking to get your business involved with sponsoring, reach out to the organisers directly at cyberhouseparty@gmail.com.
