Alistair Fawcett, COO

Alistair joined OrxAlign in May 2020 to establish the Chief Operating Officer appointment. Prior to OryxAlign, he served in the UK Armed Forces for nearly three decades, where he operated in a variety of command appointments and an array of staff roles.

He has extensive experience in: operational design, planning and execution; the deployment, protection and resilience of strategic and operational level communication and information systems; employing technology and innovation to deliver competitive advantage; programme and project management; organisational development and change; and, strategic capability planning. He has operated in many dusty hot-spots across the globe, as well as worked cross-government and with the UK’s strategic international Defence partners and industry.

His final appointment prior to leaving the Army was deputy head of capability development for UK Defence’s strategic C4ISR portfolio (annual budget of c.£2.8Bn per year). The portfolio focused on next-generation capabilities to enable strategic and operational level decision-making at the speed of relevance by providing commanders with accurate, assured and timely data and information.

He is a graduate of UK Defence’s Advance Command and Staff Course, Cranfield University and King’s College London. Outside of work his interests include the great outdoors, horology and coaching junior-level rugby.

Michelle Cowan, Head of Solutions

As Head of Solutions, Michelle is responsible for the procurement function, re-aligning processes and ensuring they are fit for purpose. She has over 12 years of experience in the sales and procurement arena, driving and delivering on our partner strategies and certifications, and managing the product and service portfolio.

In her time at OryxAlign, she has built and maintained a set of widely successful programs, unlocking fantastic business opportunities for the company.

As a key contributor to process management, governance and innovation, Michelle also leads the Business Improvement Team, championing a culture of continuous improvement across the company by pursuing and delivering operational efficiency.


In her spare time, Michelle enjoys travelling the globe (in a pre-covid world), exploring different destinations and climates. When she’s not sampling different cuisines, she can be found in her allotment, in her kitchen cooking her homegrown vegetables or at a Zumba class.

Erika Wilkins, Head of Professional Services

Erika Wilkins, Head of Professional Services

As Head of Professional Services, Erika is responsible for the efficient performance of OryxAlign’s Professional Services Business Unit, including the successful commissioning, execution and closure of all projects delivered to existing and new clients.

Erika has more than 15 years of experience implementing and managing multiple enterprise projects, on a global scale. Prior to joining OryxAlign, she worked in services, support and project management roles, successfully managing complex project portfolios and teams. As the VP of Global Services and Support at erecruit, she developed and led international teams responsible for implementing projects worth several million.

Previously to erecruit, Erika honed her professional and technical management skills at Bond International Software, establishing project quality and evolving improvement plans bringing about a 95% success rate for delivery in scope, on time and in budget.

When Erika is not working on business unit improvements, she enjoys spending quality time with her family. She loves learning new skills and has recently decided to learn how to play golf.

Jon Blagg, Head of Managed Services

As Head of Managed Services, Jon is responsible for the successful performance of OryxAlign’s Managed Services Business Unit, including the Service Desk, Network Operations Centre (NOC) and Service Delivery Team.

Jon brings more than 20 years of hands-on and strategic IT Operations and Service Delivery experience to the table, with an extensive base of service design, client and supplier management, crisis management, IT support and technology and business leadership skills.

He has overall accountability and responsibility for the performance of the Managed Services Business Unit and will lead the continued successful performance of the Service Desk, NOC and Service Delivery Team. Jon and his team play a central part in successfully planning and executing the managed services elements at OryxAlign.

Jon Blagg, Head of Managed Services

Prior to joining OryxAlign, Jon has worked in both consultant and in-house roles, most predominantly at CSC, EDS, HPES, VWG UK and Whitbread Plc where he held positions leading the delivery of evolving and legacy services. He has designed and implemented “Plan – Build – Run” operating models, executed strategies for improvements around process, team structure and technology delivery, and evolved IT service and support capabilities that have exceeded the business expectations.

Jon is a keen follower of motorcycle racing, cricket and rugby. He enjoys cooking for friends and spending quality time with his family.
