OryxAlign delivers Cisco CNS network for 1 Old Jewry refurbishment

Written by OryxAlign | Dec 15, 2025

OryxAlign has been appointed to deliver the Cisco CNS network for the refurbishment of 1 Old Jewry in the City of London. This digital infrastructure will support all landlord-controlled critical services and plays a central role in the wider transformation of the building, which will provide around 69,300 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation, 5,000 sq ft of remodelled retail space, and a new ninth-floor pavilion with an extensive roof terrace.

The refurbishment is upgrading the building to modern standards while preserving its core structure. As part of this programme, OryxAlign is designing and building the network that will host and connect key building systems across landlord-managed areas. The CNS will provide the underlying platform required for secure operation and coordinated management of services essential to the building’s day-to-day running.

The network will support a range of building systems, including access control, video surveillance, lift operations and environmental management. Placing these systems on the CNS network ensures stable day-to-day performance while keeping the building prepared for future upgrades.

Located in one of the City of London’s most established commercial districts, 1 Old Jewry is part of an ongoing programme of investment aimed at modernising existing buildings. The project reflects a wider shift across the capital, where digital infrastructure is now viewed as essential in enabling older buildings to operate efficiently and meet the expectations of contemporary workplaces.
