Appointment strengthens OryxAlign’s critical infrastructure leadership as the business further invests in an integrated design, build and manage proposition for complex, high-availability environments.
OryxAlign has appointed Paul Causton as Head of Critical Infrastructure Services, strengthening its leadership capability as the business further invests in its critical infrastructure proposition and expands its work across complex, high-availability environments.
Paul joins OryxAlign following almost 30 years with Onnec and its predecessor businesses, where he built extensive experience across critical infrastructure, structured cabling design, networking and technology integration.
His career has spanned the full project lifecycle, from solution architecture and technical design through pre-sales, vendor and partner selection, project delivery, commissioning and ongoing support. He has also led networking capabilities, developed technical teams and worked across large-scale infrastructure programmes involving multiple technologies, contractors and delivery partners.
At OryxAlign, Paul will lead the continued development of the Critical Infrastructure Services function, with a particular focus on increasing technical capability and delivery needed to support the company’s growing portfolio of complex infrastructure projects across the UK, Europe and the Nordics.
Carl Henriksen, Founder and CEO of OryxAlign, said:
“Paul brings a depth of experience that is extremely relevant to where we are taking the business. Critical infrastructure is becoming an increasingly important part of our growth strategy, and delivering successfully in these environments requires strong commercial judgement, disciplined delivery and an understanding of how complex infrastructure projects work from initial design through to commissioning and operation. Paul has worked across that entire lifecycle for many years, and his experience will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen and scale our CIS capability.”
Paul Causton, Head of Critical Infrastructure Services at OryxAlign, said:
“What attracted me to OryxAlign was the opportunity to help shape and grow the CIS capability at an important point in the company’s development. My background has always been very end-to-end. I have worked across design, pre-sales, delivery and support, and successful infrastructure projects depend just as much on coordination, planning and understanding the wider environment as they do on the technology itself.”
“Our role is to understand what the customer needs, challenge where necessary, protect their investment and make sure what we design can be delivered successfully in the real world. There is a strong foundation here at OryxAlign, and I am looking forward to building on that as the business grows.”
Paul’s appointment forms part of OryxAlign’s continued investment in its leadership, commercial and technical capabilities as the company expands its presence across critical infrastructure and managed technology services.
