The Role 

Reporting to the Platform Engineering Team Lead, the Systems Operations Engineer is responsible for providing Systems Operations support to OryxAlign and our clients. 

Within the Managed Services Business Unit, the Platform Engineering Team is responsible for providing Infrastructure Support, Operations and Maintenance, Security/Health and Hygiene and being a point of escalation to our Service Desk Team. 

Focusing on the day-to-day administration of ConnectWise Automate and our central backup reporting tools. Utilising features such as Configuration Management, Scripting, Reporting, Endpoint Updates and Support of our RMM Toolset. 

We will also be looking to develop and improve our Cloud configurations utilising Azure Log Analytics, Monitoring and Reporting. 

About You  

You’ll be a highly capable, experienced IT/Sys Ops Engineer who will have used various technologies during that time. With a keen focus on Software Deployment, Remote Management and Monitoring/Alerting in its various forms, .e.g., SMS, SCCM, Altiris and M365 Endpoint Manager. Additionally: 

Skills & Experience 
We expect the candidate to have 5+ years’ experience in the field of Systems Operations, to be working towards or have gained their Azure Fundamentals (AZ900) and be confident working in the following areas:
