Key duties & responsibilities

  1. Sales and purchase order processing
  2. Post purchase order management including tracking deliveries and updating relevant systems, notifying external and internal contacts as appropriate
  3. Work with and assist the Procurement and Provisioning team where needed
  4. Supporting the Sales team with the preparation of quotes and proposals
  5. Manage incoming sales enquiries and ensure that they are dealt with promptly
  6. Post Sales order management tasks including approving orders for invoicing and booking travel/accommodation
  7. Assist with the subscription renewal process by quoting and managing upcoming renewals and supporting the Sales team to ensure renewals are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  8. Prepare subscription contracts and manage the distribution to and from clients
  9. Look to improve the sales processes wherever possible
  10. Produce accurate weekly sales performance & pipeline reports
  11. Co-ordinate client meetings for the Sales team where needed
  12. Updating the CRM application to ensure prospect data lists are accurate and correctly formatted


The ideal candidate 

  1. Experience within the technology services sector
  2. Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in sales, marketing & business administration or a related subject
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  4. Able to demonstrate product awareness and an understanding of the needs of the customer
  5. Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  6. Able to work individually as well as part of a team
  7. Good time management and planning skills
  8. Able to meet multiple project deadlines and demonstrate good attention to detail
