Major duties & responsibilities

  • Sales and Purchase order processing
  • Post Purchase order management including tracking deliveries and updating relevant systems, notifying external and internal contacts as appropriate
  • Work with and assist the Procurement and Provisioning team where needed
  • Supporting the Sales team with the preparation of quotes and proposals
  • Manage incoming sales enquiries and ensure that they are dealt with promptly
  • Post Sales order management tasks including approving orders for invoicing and booking
  • Assist with the subscription renewal process by quoting and managing upcoming renewals and supporting the Sales team to ensure renewals are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Prepare subscription contracts and manage the distribution to and from clients
  • Look to improve the sales processes wherever possible
  • Produce accurate weekly sales performance & pipeline reports
  • Co-ordinate client meetings for the Sales team where needed
  • Updating the CRM application to ensure prospect data lists are accurate and correctly formatted

The ideal candidate

  • Experience within the technology services sector
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in sales, marketing & business administration or a related subject
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Able to demonstrate product awareness and an understanding of the needs of the customer
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Able to work individually as well as part of a team
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • Able to meet multiple project deadlines and demonstrate good attention to detail
