overall purpose of the role

As a Project Engineer you will be focussed on technical IT project implementations specifically for a short term to support a major cyber security project. This role is expected to be for an initial 2 month period and will require someone who is immediately available to start Mid-April 2024.


key responsibilities

As a Project Engineer will be expected to have the ability to deploy and troubleshoot the following applications:

  • Tanium - Software/Patch/Asset Management
  • Secureworks (Taegis platform) - Managed Detection and Response
  • Crowdstrike – AntiVirus
  • TenableOne - Vulnerability Management

knowledge, skills and experience

  • Good IT knowledge.
  • Be able to run through the deployment approach with onsite technical teams and run through presentation materials.
  • Strong and professional communication skills (oral and written form) – able to address queries and requests for information (the project’s primary language is English, however, the supported sites are across Europe, therefore, strong English language skills are required)  
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to address technical and scheduling challenges, including with non-technical staff at client sites.
  • Develop necessary documents, including how-to guides, email templates, etc, in order to keep existing documentation current.
  • Attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.
  • Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and service orientated in support of the project’s aims.
