Reporting to the Platform Engineering Team Lead, the main responsibility of this role is providing a point of escalation for our Service Desk and our clients.
Within the Managed Services Business Unit, the Platform Engineering Team is responsible for providing infrastructure support, operations and maintenance, security/health and hygiene and being a point of escalation to our Service Desk Team.
Focusing on networking as the core area but not ignoring other areas of the IT infrastructure, you will be responsible for any tickets escalated, administration of our client’s estate, firmware upgrades, maintenance and contribute to team level projects.

Key Experience and Expertise
Specifically, the individual shall have a proven track record in the following:
Hold excellent knowledge in the working of firewalls and routers
IOS firmware update knowledge
Infrastructure troubleshooting (at a 3rd line level)
Desirable Experience and Expertise
Delivery of projects
Windows server administration and troubleshooting
Azure/M365 working knowledge (with a focus on VPN, Express Route, NSGs etc.)
Network monitoring e.g. Auvik, SolarWinds or other
VMware Vcenter and Vsphere Skills
Palo Alto and other networking vendors
Education and Qualifications
Essential – CCNA
Desirable – CCNP
Up to 10% annual bonus
